Terry S. Keene, DVM (Owner):
I attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. I graduated in 1982, moved to Tampa and began practice. In 1989 I opened Keene Veterinary Hospital, and have been enjoying companion animal medicine and surgery ever since. I am the father of three children; Ryan (19), Carly (18), and Noah (16). I have a multitude of outdoor cats, and Paco, my dog. Besides my family, my interests outside of veterinary medicine include sports and fitness, boating, fishing, kayaking and woodworking.

Stephen A. LaDue, DVM:
I earned my Veterinary license from the University of Minnesota in 1969. I served my internship at Southbend Animal Hospital in Southbend, Indiana. My residency was spent in San Gabriel Valley Emergency Hospital in Los Angeles California. I have spent time working with Lowry Park Zoo, Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay Emergency Hospital, Forrest Hills Animal Hospital and of course Keene Veterinary Hospital. I have 2 dogs at home. One is a mixed breed and the other is a chihuahua. My favorite animals are black and white. I love to fish, golf, cook, spend time with my family, and watch my grandkids at thier sporting events.
Julia and Nash:
I moved to Tampa FL in 2008 with my husband Jamie and 4 furry babies; Mallorie, Chandlor B, Pierre, & Nash from Louisville, KY. My home state is North Carolina. I have been blessed to work at KVH since May 2008. When I'm not working I love spending time with my family and friends, I love the beach and spending time out doors, I love the Florida weather! :)
I have been a receptionist with KVH since November of 2008. I have 3 rescue dogs, 2 Whippet boys named Bam & Devo and 1 Italian Greyhound girl named Rotini. I love all animals, I enjoy gardening, exercise and being outdoors.
Deborah (and Charlie):
I am proud to be a part of the team at KVH. I have worked as a part time receptionist for the past several years. Dr. Keene's house cats, along with Crystal (our official mascot) are like my personal pets since we have an allergy problem at home. I am married to my highschool sweetheart and I enjoy being with my family, reading and pencil drawings.
- I have been a receptionist with KVH since 2011. I have 2 dogs; 1 chocolate Lab named Arden, and 1Redbone CoonHound named McKenna. I also have 2 birds, 1 European Starling and 1 Sun Conure named Mango. I enjoy crafts, interior decorating and baking.
I have worked at Keene Veterinary Hospital for 11 years now. I only work on Saturdays now because I work full time at the Veteran's Hospital. I have two fuzzy babies at home, Munchkin and Davinci. I love animals and my family here at KVH. This job is definitely my passion!
I have been a technician with KVH since 2002, it has truly been one of the greatest places I have worked. I have 2 dogs, my pomeranian Scooby, and my golden retriever Jennie, and recently adopted Hailey another golden, and Jorgie another pomeranian. I also have 2 cats, Mama and Potter. I enjoy cooking, walking, and spending as much time with my pets as I can.
I have been a technician with KVH since 2008. I have 2 dogs, 1 that is 1/2 lab and 1/2 pitbull, 1 that is 1/2 rottweiler and 1/2 pitbull named Kya. I also have 3 cats. I really enjoy anything to do with the salt life, the beach, the ocean and relaxing.
My name is Sarah Gilmore, my love of animals has been in my life ever since I can remember; I started off as a volunteer at the Humane Society of North Pinellas when I was 14 years old. I eventually got a job there in the medical kennels, driving the emergency after hours van and working in adoptions for many years. I co-founded a non-profit wildlife rescue with a very good friend of mine in my early 20's and worked in 2 veterinary clinics before coming to Keene in 2009. I have 3 dogs, a Jack Russel Terrier named Elvis, a Pomeranian named Lil' Man, and a Boston Terrier named Tadpole. I have 3 cats, Kit10 my polydactyl orange tiger, Fenton my flame point Siamese, and Nissa my smoke tiger. I also have 2 salt water fish tanks and its not uncommon for me to have baby squirrels, birds, opossums or other wildlife during certain times of the year. I am married and have a young daughter and recently started attending college working towards a Bachelors degree in Biology. In the little spare time I have, I enjoy spending time with friends, staying at "The Camp" (my families property in Homosassa FL) camping, fishing, hiking, canoeing, anything to get me out in the wild. My husband is in a locally successful band and I am often found at his shows as well as some stand up and improv comedy shows he is also involved in. Sometimes it gets crazy but it is always worth it.
I have been a technician with KVH since 2010. I love KVH! I have 3 dogs and 1 cat. Pup-Pup, Tilly, and Fluffy. I love salt water and everything that comes with it.
I started working for KVH in June of 2010 as a kennel tech and worked my way up to a vet tech by April 2011. I love working with all animals, exotics the most. I'm currently in school working on my A.A in Vet and plan on becoming a veterinarian myself in the future. In my free time, I like to hang out with my friends and family and relax with my three cats (Krueger, Lecter, & Miggs), my five sugar gliders (Kiki, Sid, Dory, Shanaynay, & Tido) and my hermit crab (Tyrone). :D
I have been a technician with KVH since 2006. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, 1 Scotty and 1 Schnauzer. My favorite dogs are terriers of any sort. I like to fish, run and watch my kids play soccer.
I have been with KVH since 2011. I have 1 dog named Missy, she is a chihuahua, shih-tzu mix. Outside of work I enjoy, spending time with my friends, reading and going to the beach.
I have been a technician with KVH since April of 2008. I have 3 cats, Lil' Eugene, Mullie and Oliver. I love to help others. I enjoy swimming, salt water, walking and pet-sitting!
I have been a technician with KVH since 2005. I have 2 ferrets; Shelby and Mister T. My favorite animal is any kind of large breed dog. I love travelling, getting flowers, going to concerts, spending time outdoors and playing outdoor sports. I am originally from Mississippi. My favorite place is the beach.
Alison and Company:
I have been a technician with Keene Veterinary Hospital since the end of 2011, and absolutely love it! Everybody is like family here. I am currently going to school to become an RN. I own a Leopard Gecko named Peach, a snake named Checkers, a fat cat named Cinnamon and a Siamese Apple-head nmed Bing. I love to play video games, go to the beach and stay active!
I am happy to be a part of the KVH team. I moved here from
Pittsburgh, Pa with almost 20 years in the Veterinary field. In Pa, I also owned and operated a Pet-Sitting and Professional Dog-Training business for over 6 years. I
share my downtime with my 10 year old daughter and our furry family that consists of our Red Doberman(Gypsy Rose),our Puggle(Chopper), a Shiba Inu(Moxy) and a small "pride" of kitties. We love the beaches and definitely don't miss the snow!

KVH House Pets:
Charlie : I have been here over two years. You can find me either in the back of of the clinic in my laundry basket or with the receptionist at the front desk.
Crystal: I have been with KVH a long time. I am always up front and love talking to kids. I turned 40 years old in April, 2012...crazy right?
Emily: I have been living at KVH a few years now. I am black and white and usually like to hang out on top of Crystals cage. I must be a supermodel, because everyone is always taking my picture. I would be available to go to a good home if the right family was looking!
