Veterinarian

Dr. David Miller, Jr. earned his DVM from the University of Tennessee in 1986 and opened a small and large animal practice in East Tennessee in 1987, pioneering advanced surgical and breeding techniques. Since 2007, he has focused on emergency and critical care, continuously training in new veterinary technologies. He's certified in TN, GA, and FL, and is a Veterinary Chiropractic Provider and Certified Balance Memory Acupuncturist. He also practices eastern medicine. Dr. Miller shares his life with rescue pets and enjoys diving as a certified master diver.

Dr. David Miller, Jr. received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville Campus in 1986. In 1987, he started his own small and large animal practice back home in East Tennessee, being the first to offer advanced medicine and surgical techniques, including equine breeding management and artificial insemination.

In 2007, Dr. Miller’s passion for veterinary medicine transcended to emergency and critical care, where he continues to dedicate hours of training and education, learning the newest advances in veterinary technology to better diagnose emergency and trauma cases and perform specialized surgeries and treatments. Не has been state-certified in Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida and is a Certified Veterinarian Chiropractic Provider specializing in chiropractic surgery and orthopedic manipulation.

Dr. Miller practices and continues to study eastern medicine as well with a specialty in acupuncture and herbal medicine. He is a Certified Veterinary Balance Memory Acupuncturist.

Prior to joining the team, he worked as a Medical Director, Relief Veterinarian, and Emergency Hospital Veterinarian for small animal practices and emergency hospitals throughout Central Florida during the past fifteen years.

Dr. Miller’s family includes two cats and three dogs all of which are rescue animals; and Opi the rabbit! In his spare time, he enjoys diving and is a certified master diver.
